Clinic Overview

The MEAC Football official’s clinic offer officials at all levels the chance of a lifetime by providing the services and expertise from the best NFL/NCAA football officials/evaluators in the country. In addition, NCAA supervisors including the MEAC Coordinator of officials will be attending to look at potential officials to round out their staff. Whether you want to improve your skills at the college level or you aspire to become a NFL official, the 2019 MEAC Football Officials Clinic offers everything you are looking for.

The clinic will include classroom and on field training by position for all areas of officiating.  Classroom sessions will review of video plays for your position and led by current NFL and FBS level officials. Instructions and discussions will be in the area of fouls and call selectivity, mechanics and positioning and overall game management. On the last day of the clinic, you will have an opportunity to apply what you’ve learned in the sessions by working one of the planned scrimmages.

This year, the clinic will offer instant replay sessions for those who are interested in working in the replay booth. Replay equipment will be available for attendees to get the hands on experience required to work as a replay official.
